I'm a songwriter and pianist in Madison, Wisconsin. I teach piano -- online these days. I help moderate this site.

I've done 50/90 every year since 2008. I've gotten to 50; now I just take the time to hang out and collab.

Since my piano teaching has moved online, I'm putting up my shingle here for anyone, anywhere in the world who would like lessons. I've been doing this about 30 years. Specialties include working with adults and non-traditional learners, applied theory, and jazz harmony. I still enjoy breaking down the basics for ages 8 and up, too. We've been co-writing long-distance since FAWM 2008. Last year we worked up fuller arrangements of six of those songs, booked studio time in D.C. (https://tonalpark.com/) and gathered a talented array of supporting musicians. I'm pleased with the rich soundscape we got - hope you'll take a listen!
