Vocals recorded, using Samson mic, through Focusrite Scarlet Solo, into Reason software.
Mixed exclusively on headphones. I have no speakers, I don't have the space.

Friday 2nd October
Well the deed is done. 2000 song sneaked on and invisibly placeheld. I found 2 extra as well but it's getting close to the end and I don't want to be last song. I was trying to avoid being on the final page, but everybody else must have exhausted their output as not a lot of songs in the last hour.
Thursday 1st October
It's almost midnight and I was ready to post my Korg Gadget contribution for 50/90. Thinking time was running out I noticed that I still had 25 hours. Thinking back to FAWM, I had started 10 ambient sleep inducers but only had 3 ready to post. I regretted later not putting place holders for the other 7. So as there is still time to burn I have decided to put placeholders for all the songs and lyrics I started since July 4th, no matter how tiny and insignificant the idea, I'm holding a place for it. I know I will never finish them, but in this time of crisis every seed, no matter how small, deserves my recognition. I recon if I sneak them in now before the late rush, nobody will notice. I think I have nine, count them, 9 mumbled ideas on my phone, but there could be more. I will trawl the depths of everything I put my ideas on. It could get bloated over here, but like bloat ware it will probably remain invisible.

Friday 25th September
I think the word is meh!!!
I've been on holiday for 10 days and I haven't even turned on the laptop to listen to my works in progress. I can't remember what anything I've done this year sounds like. I stopped singing due to a buzz. Bought new gear, but it's still in the box. I'm sitting in the car, bored, waiting for someone, otherwise I probably wouldn't be here now. I'll listen to some songs, that may get my music head back on.

Sunday 9th August.
Got about 4 going. Music proving difficult to fit onto my schedule. Got Not Forever as good as I can get it. Mic has a buzz when quiet now, after a moving to a new recording spot. Can't get to the problem.

Sunday 2nd August.
Managed to find time to complete A Princess... The vocal sounds very boomy in my headphones. Tried another bounce down with less reverb.

Sunday 26th June
Crashed out Friday, then spent most of Saturday trying to catch up on kind commenters. Sunday was a bust. Started a 2 new songs, but they aint got nowhere yet. I will have to work next weekend, so way behind in everything again.

Sunday 20th June
I've not spent as much time as I should have on here. Doing other things. I have resolved to listen to more. Still not ready to sing Rainy Days. Voice a bit rough, Hay Fever anybody. Started 4th song Baggage lyrics from title about depression. Can't get it going. 2 attempts at music have spawned 2 separate songs, Candyland dream, (unfinished without lyric) and The Crime of Loving, (as good as its going to get) Must keep output in numerical order, so placeholders inserted. Must do beter next week.

Saturday 11th July
First day off for ages. My agenda for today was vocals on Rainy Days, complete and sing Invisible Armour, write lyrics then complete and sing Hornets Nest and finally start a new song number four.
Got Invisible Armour and Hornets Nest done. Alas not confident enough to do Rainy Days and no new song started. Still I'm off tomorrow, first full weekend for a month. Yay!!!

June 2020
While most of you were in Lockdown, sitting in the garden, sipping cocktails and writing songs, some of us had to go out into the virus ridden world and keep those servers running.

Am I bitter that most of my colleagues had a 3 month holiday on 80% pay.?

You bet I am!

Did it irk me when I received photos of them relaxing in the garden??

You bet it did!!

Does it bother me that while they were off for 3 months and all my leave was cancelled, that they will still have the same amount of holidays to take as me???

You bet it does!!!
