Hello, my name is Amanda and I am a FAWMaholic.

(aka anja1960 on FAWM)

I live on the west coast of Ireland in some woodland and a couple of fields on my sort of smallholding, with 5 cats, a large wild polytunnel that needs retaming, a too wild garden that was destroyed last year in DonkeyGate, a drum set, 2 acoustic guitars, 2 electrics, too many other instruments, plus a warped and wicked sense of humour

I am lucky enough to be working at my passion, which is writing lyrics full time and collaborating with wonderful composers and musicians from around the world. I mostly write lyrics for the film/tv market, although I do also write for people's albums, as well as artist pitches.

Now and then I write topline melody, play drums & percussion, whistle, recorder etc, and am teaching myself to play guitar, a full drum set, and to record via a DAW.

I also play the bodhran, for those who like a wee bit of Irish rhythm.

I am happy for people to use my lyrics for collabs (just here within 50/90, unless agreed with me beforehand), as long as you ask me first please - in case someone else has jumped in there already.

If anyone wants lyrics written specifically for them, rather that those that are already below, please just ask as I also enjoy doing that

If you wish to collaborate with a view to the finished song being used outside/after 50/90, please check with me before we start, as I often use my lyrics with non 50/90 co-writers, after 50/90

If you wish to change my lyrics, please check with me first to ensure I'm happy with the changes. I am usually open to discussion, as that is how collaboration works !

The above isn't meant to sound difficult, it's just a matter of sorting what we are doing before we start, so everyone is happy - communication !
