Pronouns: they/them/theirs

I’m Alyx, and I'm a writer, musician, and knitter who is also queer, trans/non-binary, and bipolar. All of these things show up in my songs from time to time.

I've been writing songs off an on for most of my life, but I've been much more consistent about it in the last five or six years, thanks in large part to songwriting classes at the Old Town School of Folk Music and lessons learned at the Rocky Mountain Song School.

I'd be hard-pressed to name a single genre I don't like at least *something* from. Most of what I write is folky, but I enjoy listening to everything from classical music to death metal.

2019 will be my first time attempting 50/90 (I've done FAWM twice now). We'll see how this goes! We're moving AND traveling in August, so...
