Adnama17: So, TC usually sends me a backing track, and I lyric and melody the snot out of it. But not this time. I sent him this backing track, and he lyric-ed and melody-ed the snot out of it. I struggled with every piece of this, the drums, the e-guitar, the mix. The only thing that came easily was the bass. And I wrote it too high for him, but he still nailed the vox. And as always, provided some yummy lead. This was an interesting learning experience, and it's a kick a** song to boot. <3

t.c.: The more I listened to the music the more I liked it. Guitars are rocking without being over the top. I'm fairly happy with the lyric, too. And yeah, Amanda tends to push my singing ability. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Lyrics:

I look around me
I can't focus my eyes
Blurry edges closing in
A growing nightmare I can't describe

Uneasy feelings
As I sink into the fog
Feeling helpless, all alone
I shake my fist as I curse god

Nighttime falls and I can't find my way
Isolation, ashamed and betrayed
People tell me that I'll be okay
Feeling alone
Feeling betrayed

I reach out my hand
I try to touch the wall
Fuzzy feeling surrounds me
At any moment I might fall

I hear the whispers
They come from all around
Dizzy feeling in my head
Before I know it I hit the ground

Nighttime falls and I can't find my way
Isolation, ashamed and betrayed
People tell me that I'll be okay
Feeling alone
Feeling betrayed

Nighttime falls and I can't find my way
Isolation, ashamed and betrayed
People tell me that I'll be okay
Feeling alone
Feeling betrayed

A reverse Amanda! Backing sounds fine to me (=effortless, isn't that always the way! ) and TCs lyric and melody is seamless. I like the lyric, a lot, very much another resonating song. The different modulation/progression on the "Feeling" lines bring them into sharp relief. Good stuff!

A great grunge track (those guitars set the tone perfectly!) The verse vocals panned hard right and left are a clever way to add to the unsettling, alienated emotions of the protagonist. Another strong collab, folks!

That's great to switch normal roles! Both music and lyrics are cool. Nice collab, good snot.
