Liner Notes:

Song #50!! Another part of the super-skirmish weekend. Prompt was to use 5 of 10 randomly generated words. I used: cowgirl, alaska, fools, madness, top, taco

Lyrics:

V1:
Drivin' down Main I noticed her license plate
Man, she was a long, long way from Alaska
In that big Ford truck she was lookin' really great
I couldn't help but wonder why was she in Nebraska

PRE:
She pulled into the taco stand
I drove by just like I planned
In this small town I knew I'd see her again

CHORUS:
Cowgirl from the North
Down here for some family matters
There wasn't any back and forth
Soon she had my heart in tatters
Now she's gonna stay here
She's my girl and I'm so happy
'Cause she's my Cowgirl from the North

V2:
Now I'm on the top of the world
She loves me and I love her
We love to snuggle up all curled
It's all been such a magical blur

PRE:
Some folks thought that we were fools
But love's madness knows no rules
Now I'll love her forever and again

CHORUS:
Cowgirl from the North
Down here for some family matters
There wasn't any back and forth
Soon she had my heart in tatters
Now she's gonna stay here
She's my girl and I'm so happy
'Cause she's my Cowgirl from the North

Great work on getting the words into the lyrics. The song is really good. You make that rhythm guitar sound like a full band. The harmonies are very evocative and the lyrics tell a very good story.

Love it. Real rocking track. The guitar is gritty. Your harmonies in the chorus sound great. I’m wondering if you’re the “other” my cowgirl left me for!!?? Great skirmishing and I really liked doing this, a lot of fun.

What a great skirmish and to use the words so well. Great guitar!

Good job in getting all those words in. Nice pre-chorus, strong chorus (like the harmony!).
