Liner Notes:

I saw this lyric on Kahlo2013 page that she wrote for her Father. I asked her if I could run with it. I didn't want to do a full-on production. So I went for just piano and Vocal. It keeps it nice and intimate.

Lyrics:

Time To You - Kahlo2013 © 2020

V1
Come lie on the couch
Here with family
Get comfortable
Seek calm serenity
We’ll turn the lamp off
Sit here quietly
And take some time
To escape reality

C
It’s time for us
To care for you
It’s time for you
To let us help
You through
It’s time to give
time to you

V2
Come leave all your fear
Up on the bookshelf
We’ll lock all pain
In a chest by ourselves
Know that we are here
To hold you with love
Know all you have done
Is more than enough

C
It’s time for us
To care for you
It’s time for you
To let us help
You through
It’s time to give
time to you

B
You gave you loved
You helped you cared
You’ve been the one
always there
but now let go... let go
we are here

C
It’s time for us
To care for you
It’s time for you
To let us help
You through
It’s time to give
time to you

Such a touching song! Exceptional piano and emotion in your voice. Just beautiful in every way!

I have to say this hits home for me. This is so beautifully and soulfully rendered. Liz's words more than embody so many aspects of hospice care (the good way). Wonderful work all around.

Gorgeous. I wish I was better at piano--I love a simple song with just a nice piano backing it! Great lyrics (of course) and lovely vocal to it.

Nice collab, guys!

Moving lyrics and performance. The piano-only arrangement is perfect, and your vocals are so emotionally charged. Excellent collab!

Well, the lyrics are obviously from the heart. Definitely i can relate to this. It must have been a little bit daunting to want to do justice to the lyrics, but you have done it. The piano accompaniment was a good choice, and your chord inversions support the feel of this well. Great work on the vocals too!
