What started out as a therapy lyric by @phylo and some therapy music from yours truly turned out to be something to be proud of Smile

Lyrics:

Chi
Words: phylo
Music: coreystewart

The zen of running
The art of making sense
The craft of writing
Or building up a fence

Insight into nature
Gathers in my mind
Energy phenomenon
Enough to unwind

Lookin' round for my chi
Seems I've lost another key
Somewhere around here
Easy enough to understand
That I need to gain command
Makes it all too clear

Always been a dreamer
Sometimes I'm not all there
But somehow I landed fine
On a wing and a prayer

Find the luminosity
Realize it's clear light
Take the time, get in line
And it'll be alright

Lookin' round for my chi
Seems I've lost another key
Somewhere around here
Easy enough to understand
That I need to gain command
Makes it all too clear

Nice kickoff and well arranged with that extra guitar. Wow, this sounds good, makes me think of Tom Petty and Neil Young and even Hall&Oats.
If you want some extra guitar sound and voices, let me know!
Best song I've heard this year!

This could be the 70's or today. Classic and such a great production. Great!

Oh wow! Jaw on the desk. This comes racing out of the gate with an instant ear-grab! Superb collaboration here. The music and performance really bring the lyrics to life.

Great 70s soft-rock feel to this. Love the chorus especially!

Echoing the sentiments above--this is absolutely something I would have loved back in the 70s (or now!!) I get a lot of comments on my own music as to it being "70's sounding"...and I take that as high praise! Smile

Great song--ready for the radio already! Nice collab, you guys!
