Liner Notes:

Her chair is in my studio, as well as one of her old suitcases that I use as a table. She was so dear to me. The verses would need to be re-worked, and it's kinda long.

Lyrics:

VERSE:
It sits there in the corner
The fabric's pretty worn
It's mere presence makes me stronger
I sometimes see her in its form

CHORUS:
Gramma's Chair
Reminds me of her kindness
The hugs she loved to give
Every time that I was near
Gramma's Chair
And even though it's empty now
She'll always be by my side
In Gramma's Chair
Gramma's Chair
Gramma's Chair

VERSE:
The scent of her perfume
Lingers in the fabric
This cherished heirloom
Will always be a classic

Playing cards together
Best biscuits you ever had
The blackjack trees in stormy weather
And I truly never saw her mad

CHORUS:
Gramma's Chair
Reminds me of her kindness
And the hugs she loved to give
Every time that I was near
Gramma's Chair
And even though it's empty now
She'll always be by my side
In Gramma's Chair
Gramma's Chair
Gramma's Chair

This is so touching and makes me miss my Grandma. Wonderful tribute!

classic country rock. i like hearing the descending bass line carried in the vocal melody rather than the bass guitar,. there is one change that reminds me of the rolling stones..wild horses i think

A fine tribute. I like how you weave the memories into the lines. Those details stand out. I can relate and I'm sure others can too. Good, reflective melody and music. Well done!

I love the organ at the beginning, it works really well for the intro. This is a lovely, heartfelt tribute to a loved one. It's catchy and very sweet. Nice job.
