Liner Notes:

This is me still working on getting the hang of this orchestral stuff and trying to get away from my very strict adherence to certain forms and phrasing. Still pretty standard ABA form. It's kind of hard to escape short forms when you're on a time crunch. But I'm really pleased with how this turned out.

The name comes from my brother's fictitious pirate ship on which I be the navigator what always seems to get us lost, see.

I also made it pirate because the first five notes have been stuck in my head for days and I couldn't place them. Pirates of the Caribbean. But 5 notes does not an original theme quite make. Also pirate.

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

Terrific fun! The opening and closing movements have a great sense of adventure with a hint of mystery and secret treasure, while the middle bit has a really convincing "hero / heroine's theme" feel to it that's pretty entrancing!

Anyway. Great composing and lots of energy to this -- well structured, cinematic in feel and scope. Very enjoyable listen!

Just needs Errol Flynn! That fast paced rhythm running through the piece is so driving. Really cool.

Distinctively scored and constructed. The high speed chase section with those strings riffing away like metal guitars leads beautifully into the pastoral mid section.
i could happily enjoy being a pirate to this soundtrack.

I really love it !
I don't know why but all I can think about while listening to it is Mount & Blade
