Uke + Glock = Rock

Liner Notes:
This is uke+glock rock exactly as advertised on the tin.
I keep my eye on thrift store toy sections for 'real' instruments because they often resemble their toy counterparts. Yesterday I got a 2 octave chromatic glockenspiel for $6.99.
Here is a picture of what it looks like.

I had to try it out, so I sketched out a chord structure in Band in a box, laid down some rhythm uke and improvised lead uke and glock melodies.

Instrumental.

Haha this is fabulous!
I feel like I'm sitting in a Vegas lounge drinking a martini and watching the house band.
It's definitely making me smile.
I know what you mean; I'm always checking out second-hand stores for cheap instruments.
I once picked up a bass ukulele in the toy section for eight bucks.
You've certainly put your new acquisition to good use here.
Really nice uke improv; I'm impressed!
Excellent work!
Glocks out, this is a real fun track. I like the story behind the glock and it's nice little melody. The lead uke was pretty wicked also, very enjoyable song!
Love this Sean, I need some glock in my life
OMG, when that glock comes in! It's such a playful sound I couldn't help but laugh. I played the glockenspiel in 5th grade band. I was the only one and they didn't know what to do with me. But I wasn't half bad!
Oh how that glock rocks!! Who needs a Les Paul when you have that. Great tune.
Real good ... I've loved glocks since hearing Jethro Tull's "Skating Away" about a million years ago. The uke sounds very guitar-like and jazzy and cool. Nice glockin'!
You got a good deal on that thing! I saw $6.99 and I though of those terrible sounding rainbow things with plastic frames that aren't even pitched correctly. This is fun to listen to, and I'm a fan of the uke and Glock combination, so woohoo! I especially like where you trade off solos between the two!
What a sweet sound to that glockenspiel.
And nice soloing! I love how theinstruments come together in the end.
Sounds like a fun holiday day this one. Enjoying the sights and different locales.
Well, I haven't heard that combo before. Bravo!
oh my! i LOVE this.......and as Fuzzy said I just need a martini and a lounge suit now
I'm super jealous of your glockenspiel find........rockin out with your glock out indeed! Really brightened my early morning late night with this one
Super-catchy! Amazing what you do with bargains like the glock! It sounds fantastic.
Lovely. You got a good deal on the glock and even better: make good use of it
It's a minor feel but I'm catching a festive summery vibe. I'll have another! #rockoutwithyourglockout
I'll have to be on the lookout for one of my very own!
Very summery feel. Where's my pina colada!
Hmm... I don't have a glockenspiel. I do have a kalimba that hasn't made it in to any of my tracks yet. I was always like, "but how do I incorporate it?" A dedicated solo will totally work...
