When The World Resumes

When The World Resumes

Lyrics:

I watched the moon stand still as the world stopped,
They said we'd be dropping like fireflies,
While the wheels stop turning the city turned to ghosts
I held my breath and looked outside

So what will you do when the world resumes?
I hope I grown a little by the ti I see you
So what will you do when the world resumes?
I hope I grown a little by the ti I see you

Somehow the silence soothes my heavy soul,
Maybe we need time to reflect,
I know some of us lost a hell of a lot.
But some of us need to forget,

So what will you do when the world resumes?
I hope I grown a little by the ti I see you
So what will you do when the world resumes?
I hope I grown a little by the ti I see you

I seen the summer blooming outside,
Its how I know we'll be alright,
The birds sing louder every day
Which is why i'm sure tomorrow will be better than yesterday

So what shall will you do when the world resumes?
So what shall will you do when the world resumes?

Very nice song! that piano gets in your brain. very clever take on the issue! really enjoyed listening to this!

love the chord voicings on the piano, and how your melodies pass through them... powerful change as you head into the chorus , then a lighter turn into the bridge.

There's an undertone of ominous power in that chorus that makes me want to hear it it with growling grunge guitars! A bit of Echo and The Bunnymen meets Foo Fighters unplugged. You have a potential Bond theme here I reckon!

Yes, ominous is the right word.

If you'd think this was about something else, way in the past, it would come off as creepy. But it's more normal to us, I guess.

Artfully crafted.
