Liner Notes:

I did another youtube tutorial. This one just turned out strange. If anyone would like to do anything with this, it is open for collaboration. No need to ask, just go ahead and do your thing.

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

This sounds nice. There's a warmth in the chord sounds and there's brightness in the melody and rhythm. Playful feeling with almost like children's song quality with modern dance accents ( trap rhythms? ). It's really enjoyable to listen to and even catchy.

Of course “trappy” got my attention. The trap beats are cool and the melody sounds very happy, which seems to me a contradiction. Think it would be a good candidate for some vocals.

Agree with Klaus — there is a both a warmth and a joyful kind of feeling to it - that combined with the instrumentation with a bell tone like feel made me think of the Christmas holiday although I don’t think I’ve ever heard a Christmas song to a trap beat. Smile

"Happy" being in the title prepared me for something different. The drums are the trap standard, but the other sounds used and the way you've used them is unique.
I don't listen to much trap, but I haven't heard any that has this kind of character to it.
I agree with Kahlo about the warmth and Christmasy feel. I've heard some Christmas songs "trapified" in the past. I think you could create a new popular one with this experiment. It does indeed have the warmth needed for such a thing, due to your sound choices and the melodies.
I've enjoyed your foray into the electronic and hip-hop world.

Really great work here.
As others have said, this is a joyful and warm tune.
That melody is really nice for sure, almost like a skipping 78rpm children's record.
Well done!
