Liner Notes:

6 of 10 in the random Chord progressions series. Chords formed by random numbers from junk mail letter.

Problems with the mid 8, no title as yet.

Still no mid 8 worth the name.

When I was listening to the mp3, I heard what sounded like two telephone rings. I must have mistakenly added them to the song when editing. I've left them in.

When thinking about a title the two rings came to mind, and it got me thinking about something I saw in a movie or a sit com or on TV somewhere.

When you call a cellular mobile phone it can go straight to voicemail, which means they are in the middle of a call. It can ring five or six times then go to voicemail, which means they were not near the phone when you called. Worst of all, it can ring twice then go to voicemail, which means they were holding the phone, they saw your number, then rejected the call. Why did they reject my call, what have I done to make them reject my call...

HaHa lots of lyrical possibilities in that little sentence above.

Got the chorus quite quick. Need verses now.

Chorus
I'm waiting, waiting for an answer
When I call you and you don't answer
Two rings, two rings mean you don't care
I know you saw, saw it was my number
When you blanked it, didn't want to answer,
Two rings, two rings mean you don't care

Interesting theme, specially once you explained it. A rather happy tune for such a theme, intriguing

When I twigged what was going on, I laughed. This would actually make a really good ringtone!

And this brought back a memory from when I was a little kid, my friends and I would always call whoever we'd been hanging out with and let the phone ring once to signal that we'd got back home.
