Tomorrow (1:01)

Tomorrow (1:01)

Liner Notes:

I listened a lot to Juliana Hatfield lately.

tomorrow I won't be too late
tomorrow won't be second rate
tomorrow I'll be brave

tomorrow I will be in line
tomorrow the sun will shine
tomorrow I’ll make my bed

tomorrow will probably look a lot like yesterday

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

Nice continuity of sound style from the first track. Gonna listen to the third now.

This sounds great - love the production. Again it's so catchy. Really like how a simple lyrical idea like 'Tomorrow ... something ...' works so well.

Great use of the Melloton.
Fantastic instrumental breaks, and great sounds all around.
Wow, you've really kicked it up a notch this summer.
I didn't think you could get any better, but I was wrong!

Your song is brilliantly strange and adorable. You should tag it for the International Strange Music Day which is today Smile

Y'know what I truly appreciate about your songs? It's the Beatlesque sensibilities that carry over to each tune. Mind you, it's completely you, but it's just so cool to hear that influence coming through.

Reminds me of the Ariel Pink, Jack Stauber, John Maus sorta world. Cool!

Klinkt goed, Rob! Deze lyrics zijn maar al te herkenbaar, en het klinkt ook nog eens lekker.

The dropped beats on this really messed with my head. In a good way - I went back and listened several times to figure out what was going on. Very nicely done and VERY catchy!

I agree with everyone about the production, melodies and catchiness and will add that the 4/4 + 2/4 time sounds anxious and works well with the "gotta get a grip but I probably won't" lyrics. The slightly mechanic rhythm with some of the lyric lines makes me think of the modern work ethic. The part with the soft vibraphone sound is really lovely.

This is quirky and fun. I love the vocal layers. They have both a breathy quality and a warm undertone. I love the percussive stuff and the big spaces in places.
