Liner Notes:

I've been wanting to learn electronic music for awhile now. @helen introduced me to some tutorials on YouTube where I tried one other attempt at electronic stuff. This time Helen and I decided to work through the same tutorial and see how our tracks compare. I had to add a little nod to 90s dance music, so I could relive my youth. Smile

This is the tutorial used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePI4BznF_Jo

Helen's track is here: http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/song/39246

Everybody, everybody

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

That tutorial is pretty sweet, Val. I learned quite a bit and it appears you have, too! Smile This is pretty groovy, laid back and sexy. I dig what you've done with your vocals; that works aces. I'm going to try my hand at this at some point. In the meantime, you've given me something to aspire to musically. Thanks for this!

Yeah I found this to be just as above says
the music was still playing long after it had stopped,
just really easy to listen to so relaxing, yet
made you want to move
loved it

This is brill. Great groove and really cool swooshy bits. Love the vox you went for too. I'm going to totally steal ideas from you too Biggrin

Nice hats and claps! The vocals remind me a bit of Gloria Estefan’s “Shake Your Body” - oh how I miss that sound!

I feel the 90s influence and its what makes this track cool for me. The bass pattern and the elec pianos truly put me in a very specific place in time, free of the cares of today.
The sparse vocals are done perfectly for this vibe, total 90s Crystal Waters type stuff.
This took me back in the best way possible.

Great groove you have here. Wonderful dance mix. Lots of cool synth sounds. Nice vocal overlay.
