So here's a little improvisation I came up with. My phone has an app that can create a drone and this one is droning on the note D. I wrote down all the chords I could think of that contain the note D and then improvised.
There are a few timing mistakes as I try to work out what to play next.

I love the drone. Wonderful melody line lead in and I like how it builds. You create and calming relaxing feel. I like the chord progression you use on top of the drone.
Sounds like a monastery or cathedral in the background - very effective!
