When the Tide Rolls in

Liner Notes:

As always, I enjoyed setting Cindy's lyric to music. I added a couple of lines to the chorus. Oops, in my notes yesterday, I just noticed that I had written to repeat her first two lines instead of my 2 lines. Oh well, it's in the can now. LOL

When life seems absurd
I look to the birds
‘Cause His eye is on the sparrow

When I feel slapped in the face
I look to God's grace
‘Cause I know who holds tomorrow

When the tide rolls in
Will I sink or swim?
When the mountains are high
Will I look toward the sky?
In the darkest of days
Will I fall or praise?
When I’m near the end
Will I say “What a friend?”

When the journey seems tough
I know He’s enough
‘Cause He loves me just as I am

When clouds are the norm
I’m sheltered from the storm
He's the lion and the lamb

Repeat chorus

This is a truly lovely tune -- I love the lilt and bounce to it. Great collaboration!

This is really pretty. I really love that chorus. The lyrics are beautiful and the harmonies match really well. The instrumental bridge going into minor is kind of cool too.
