Neil Armstrong Pees His Pants

Neil Armstrong Pees His Pants

Liner Notes:

Here's a song to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

This song took me about 20 minutes from start to finish, and I think it shows.

C'mon, you've wondered about this kind of thing, am I right?

It's not juvenile, it's science, SCIENCE I tell you!!!

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

ha!! the hidden underbelly of the space program! hilarious, and i love the ending!

I was seriously just reading an article on how the astronauts relieve themselves in space. Great topic! Neil Armstrong's number 1! Biggrin

I was thinking I'd wait to post my silly moon song, given the importance of the anniversary.
But I watched a show about astronauts last night, and I think they would approve of your goofiness.
Brilliant tribute!

What?!? Yet another pee and ukulele song on 5090? This is so funny! Great take on the challenge!

It's a total legit query.
Left behind the pee! Hahahaha!
Oh man, this made my day. I need more Fuzzy humor in my life. We all do!

From now on I will have a different look at the moon. Love the way I imagine you sound pissed (ah come on with your Neil Armstrong this, Neil Armstrong that), no pun intended. Cool repetitive chords too!

Fun-nay! Neil spent his time peeing in a bag, it's like that's all he ever did. I googled and there are 96 bags for poo, urine and vomit left behind in the moon's surface. That is one of the fundamental feature of us human beings, we leave piss and poo everywhere we go. Smile

Couldn't not listen to a song with this title. The seventh chord switch after the reveal is hilarious, as are the following lyrics. Hilarious stuff.

Fabulous title and hilarious lyrics. An overlooked topic! The last few lines about what they left on the moon are brilliant.

Ha! What a fun and educational take on the Apollo challenge! I am always fascinated by how we leave such basic info out of history! What about the Oregon Trail? What about ancient Mayans? And of course...what about astronauts? Fuzzy, you have done a special service to humanity by writing a song about Neil's #1! Great writing...clever and funny. Wrapped in ukulele goodness and nicely sung! Nice work here! (hope you didn't pee yer pants while writing this!)

Haha that is funny. But also a piece of history that the public were denied, until these more liberal times.
How could I have been so stupid as to think NASA science circumvented such mundane things.
Makes you wonder what will be revealed next.
Classic Fuzzy of course.

hahaha never thought about what they did with the pee. all those poems and songs written about the moon and there are pee bags sitting there. witty write, sir.

It is science. Thank you for the education. Anyone who doesn't treat this song with the seriousness and respect it deserves is just being childishness. Biggrin

But in all seriousness, it is also tremendous fun. Thanks for the grin! (And it'll go very well on a split single with the astronaut poop song I'm in the midst of writing!)

haha big grins and out loud laughs, i love the words you get in there. some words i thought were exclusively UK based so a linguistics lesson as well as a science lesson.

HA! Is that true about the pee bags being left behind? You always have the greatest song titles of anyone on 50/90 and I actually didn't expect this one to have anything to do with Neil Armstrong, but go figure, WYSIWYG. I am going to be thinking about "Neil Armstrong's #1" at random times and laughing to myself all day.
