Liner Notes:

A pleasure to be able to play with Kingwood Kowboys outstanding lyric

Lyrics:

Crosswords, nothing is amiss at doing crosswords
Even though I stop trying when about two thirds
I tell myself that I insist I don’t miss you
Doorbell, nothing is amiss with my old doorbell
Even though it stopped ringing where only I dwell
I miss you, nothing is amiss at missing you
Nothing is amiss at missing you
I try to dismiss my crying too
I knew this would be making me blue
Nothing is amiss at missing you
(Instrumental)
Window panes, nothing is amiss with window panes
Even though I stare out of them and call your name
I insist to my mind my heart is not in pain
Coffee, nothing is amiss with my morning brew
Even though I forget how many spoons go through
I miss you, nothing is amiss at missing you
Nothing is amiss at missing you
I try to dismiss my crying too
I knew this would be making me blue
Nothing is amiss at missing you

I was at the Tamworth Country Music Festival a few months ago, and stuff like this was everywhere. You would fit right in.

Quality - nice pace with a great country twang. The instrumental was excellent. Reading the lyrics I got the impression of someone sitting in their home checking all the things around them to ensure they could be contacted... great coloab

Wonderfully melancholy. This drips with emotion, musically and lyrically. Your vocal is emotive as hell. That instrumental is legit. It's not the fun and exciting stuff that I miss from my former relationships, it's the little everyday things that mean the most. Nicely done!

Love the guitar solo!
Excellent lyrics by Kingwood.
Your voice always has a solemn and wistful, yet gentle and hopeful all at the same time kind of tone. I think it fits these lyrics and style quite nicely.
Well done collab.

Classic country writing. Double entendre wordplay to illustrate heartbreak. The arrangement is right in the pocket. The interplay between steel and electric guitars sells it.

Nice collaboration, guys! I do about half of my songs in country style, too--so I'll be keeping an eye on you guys. Great work--nice song.

Ooh, I love the guitar interplay here, and that beautiful pedal steel/slide guitar. Very nice bass and drums.

Beautiful guitar solo!

Great lyrics from Larry, as per usual, and I love his wordplay so much, especially with the hook laden title line “nothing is amiss when I’m missing you” - brilliant!
