Liner Notes:

Roel says: Browsing through the recent lyrics, I often just improvise a quick song just for the improvising pleasure. When it happens to be too good not to handle, I kindly ask the lyricist whether I can use his lyrics. So this improvisation resurfaced in October and my wife said: I like that, like, a lot! But since my improvisation Metalfoot already created a nice rendition of Kingwood Kowboy's lyrics. So I went on my knees and asked both artists whether they were fine that I uploaded my version too. And they were! Biggrin A big sigh of relief later, I can upload the song now here. No cuts, no changes, just like it rolled out the first time.

Lyrics:

Walking Down The Low Road Home (Larry W Jones aka the Kingwood Kowboy 8/27/2018)

Just walking down the low road home
I’m walking down the low road home
Yes, I lost my way but now I can say
I’m walking down the low road home

Walking toward a morning sunrise
Won’t be no darkness in the skies
I’m tired and no more will I roam
I’m walking down the low road home

Just walking down the low road home
I’m walking down the low road home
Yes, I lost my way but now I can say
I’m walking down the low road home

When I left home and said goodbye
I thought my dreams were flying high
Low and behold I held a bone
I’m walking down the low road home

Just walking down the low road home
I’m walking down the low road home
Yes, I lost my way but now I can say
I’m walking down the low road home

This old road is weary and long
Things got dreary when I went wrong
I wear a frown but feeling strong
I’m walking down the low road home

Just walking down the low road home
I’m walking down the low road home
Yes, I lost my way but now I can say
I’m walking down the low road home
